About the show
Animal Rescue Live is focusing the country’s attention on animal rescue shelters and the amazing work they do.
Each year around 250,000 pets end up in rescue shelters around the UK and centres are constantly in need of more support. Animal Rescue Live is a campaign bringing the nation together to fix the problem; by donating money, volunteering and, for those who can, adopting a rescue animal.
This year based in Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, and live on air every weekday, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, Steve Jones, Kate Quilton and a host of famous faces are aiming to give thousands of pets another chance at happiness.
