Animal Rescue Live – Website Privacy Notice
Last updated 07.08.2019
Animal Rescue Live ('the Programme')
This Privacy Notice concerns a website that has been created in connection with the television series Animal Rescue Live (‘the Series’) which Blast! Films is producing for Channel 4 (‘the Website’).
The Series will follow the work of the following animal rescue shelters as they attempt to rehouse animals in their care: Raystede Centre For Animal Welfare, Scottish SPCA (Ayr Branch), National Animal Welfare Trust (Cornwall branch), Amate Animalia and Assisi Animal Sanctuary (‘the Shelters’).
The Website has been created so that people who are interested in adopting animals from the Shelters can register their interest with the Shelters.
This Privacy Notice sets out how the Shelters collect and use information submitted to the Website in connection with that process.
The Shelters are the joint data controllers of the personal data you submit using the Website.

- To improve the Website and to customise the Website for you;
- To contact you in response to adopting a pet;
- To assess eligibility of the pet you are interested in adopting;
- If your circumstances are not suitable for the pet you are interested in adopting then we will use your personal data to consider what other pets might be suitable for you;
- To understand what animal would most suit your lifestyle, thereby enabling us to identify which Shelter is the most suitable for any potential owner;
- To contact you about other animals we think you might be interested in adopting;
- To administer and manage your application to adopt a pet and to assist us in replying to any queries you may have;
- To contact you for further information when considering your application to adopt a pet;

We need this information to be able to assess your suitability to adopt a pet from us.
